Many among us came into Unitarian Universalism to get rid of outdated concepts of “God” or the Divine” which were oppressive or too anti-intellectual. And yet, in this uncertain world in which we live, many are finding that they need to understand more about what they DO believe, not just what they do not. What alternative ideas are there to the old unhelpful models or ungrounded and “fluffy” new interpretations often professed by a single individual and not passed through the fire of thought?
