Who We Are
Brave, curious, and compassionate in thought and action.
Wanting to make a difference for good.
Standing on the side of love, justice, and peace.
If this describes you, welcome to Unitarian Universalism. As people of self-motivated spirituality, we think for ourselves, as you yourself do.
The Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church (MDUUC) community includes people of many beliefs and backgrounds: Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Humanist, Jewish, Muslim, Pagan, atheist and agnostic, believers in God, and people who let the mystery be. Some of us have a religious upbringing, others don’t. We have many things in common. The most important is a willingness to share our spiritual and intellectual journeys and learn from each other.
People of all sexual orientations and gender identities find a home at MDUUC. Unitarian Universalists have been on the forefront of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) inclusion for more than 40 years.
You are welcome here: your whole self, with all your truths and your doubts, your worries and your hopes. Please join us on this extraordinary adventure of faith and exploration.
