November 6: Who Owns the Conversation? Rev. Tet Gallardo, Balazs Scholar
Who Owns The Conversation? A Facebook organizer, a participant, and a follower posted on a topic, “Who owns the conversation?” Are organizers limiting the way conversations can come alive? The concept of trolling has acquired a negative connotation, when it is only someone who posts provocative dissenting comments. Must opinions really compete when we have common goals for humanity? Should living conversations be the practice we can offer the world that is becoming more and more agnostic to theology itself?
Rev. Ma. Theresa “Tet” Gallardo, the 2016-2017 Balazs Scholar at Starr King School for the Ministry, and the minister of the Bicutan Congregation in Manila, the Philippines will lead this service.
