Sunday Service Support
- Usher: We need ushers! If you can help please let us know or sign up HERE or visit your Church Center app.
- Give a Ride to Church: Lack of transportation is a common reason people are not able to attend in-person programming like Sunday services or Vespers. If you can help out once or once a month, please let us know!
- Music Makers: Do you play an instrument or sing? Join in harmony with our choir or band, or help our with choir set-up.
- Join the Tech Team: Do you (or someone you know) have a background or interest in AV technologies? The Tech Team is seeking volunteers to help bring the magic to our community. We can provide training in live audio and audio/video for streaming. Come join us!! Contact Jen at admin@mduuc.org.
- Join the Coffee Crew – Make Sundays Warmer! A simple cup of coffee or tea can open the door to meaningful conversations and lasting connections. Help create a welcoming space where newcomers, first-time visitors, and regular congregants feel at home. It’s more than serving drinks—it’s serving community. Ready to brew connection? - Snack Support: Can you donate snacks for our middle-schoolers to sell on the patio? Or provide simple lunches (such as sandwich ingredients) for our youth group? Hungry tummies thank you!
- Host our YouTube Channel for online participants for Sunday mornings!
- Greeters Needed: Do you like being a friendly face? We need greeters for our services and folks to assist with name tags. if you can help please contact Zendra@mduuc.org
Grounds and Buildings
- Can you rake and weed? Paint or fix? Consider joining our Saturday Buildings and Grounds Work Parties on the first Saturday of every month.
- Watering/Irrigation: Help us maintain MDUUC'S beautiful grounds.
- Help Rehoming Furniture: Are you a whiz at advertising on Facebook Market Place, NextDoor, or Freecycle? We could use your talents to help us rehome furniture we no longer need!
Programs and Facilitation
- Do you love books? We are looking for a couple of book lovers to lead our Books and Connections group.
- FUUN times team members: We are looking for folks who want to make play happen on a regular basis at MDUUC!
- Are You A Good Listener? Now is the time we are welcoming new Pastoral Visitors (members only because of legal restrictions).
- E-waste event: We are looking for a few people to coordinate a simple e-waste event as a fundraiser for the church.
