Myths have been part of our human experience in most cultures for millennia. They had to ave some value otherwise they would not have achieved mythic status. In this fragmented time, myths and facts can get intertwined. In this sermon, I examine the challenge of discarding myths: how do we choose what to keep and what to discard? And what might we lose when we discard our myths? And what might we gain? Worship Associate Leslie G. Polgar will lead this service. For the Affirmation of Community, you are invited to show yourself doing something that reflects a truth for you!
