We are excited to be in our second year as co-ministers of this dynamic church. We were drawn to its rich legacy of involved and engaged members, its advocacy in the areas of peace and justice, its vibrant and committed leaders, and its deep sense of place. If this intrigues you, we hope you will visit and allow yourself to discover if this remarkable community calls to you as well.

In a world too marked by busy-ness, this is a place where you can rest your heart. In a nation where religious rhetoric too often seems exclusionary, this is a place where humanity and the power of the mind and heart are honored. In a time when superficiality and uniformity seem to dominate too much of our lives, here is a place where authenticity and uniqueness are cherished, where individuals come to freely join together in a sense of common purpose. In an age when too many despair of ever being able to make a difference, this is a place where we still believe in the power of a small group of people to create the change that we need in the world.

Here we are informed by principles which give voice to what we hold in common, rather than creeds which exclude those who will not call them literal truth. Here we welcome all those in sympathy with our purposes, regardless of their age, racial or cultural background, income, the religions of their origins, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Here we stand with all families and all people, celebrating their inherent worth and dignity. Surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world, we affirm our interdependence and connection with the web of life.

This community is truly a creation of its members and friends. Come and help us create its future--and yours. For truly, you are welcome.
